SSC JE Selection Process 2024 – The Staff Selection Commission prescribes the SSC JE Selection Process 2024 in the official notification. The SSC JE selection process 2024 has three stages – paper 1, paper 2, and document verification. To clear the SSC JE 2024 exam, candidates need to clear and qualify the SSC JE cutoff of all three stages of the exam. The SSC JE 2024 paper 1 and paper 2 is a computer-based test. There will be a negative marking for SSC JE paper 1 as objective-type questions will be asked in that paper. Stage 1: Paper 1 For SSC JE Selection Process 2024
The first stage of the SSC JE recruitment process has one paper having three sections. It is conducted in online mode by the exam conducting authorities. SSC JE Paper 1 is 200 marks with a negative marking. Stage 2: Paper 2 For SSC JE Selection Process 2024
The second stage of the SSC JE selection process also has one paper. It is also conducted in online mode by the Staff Selection Commission. SSC JE Paper 2 is 300 marks with a negative marking. The duration of the JE paper is 2 hours. Subjects like – Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates have to appear for the paper in whichever stream they have applied for. Stage 3: Document verification For SSC JE Selection Process 2024
Candidates qualifying for the SSC JE paper 1 and 2 cutoff marks are eligible to appear for the SSC Junior Engineer document verification stage. At this stage of the SSC JE selection process, candidates will have to furnish all the relevant documents as asked by the authorities. The final SSC JE merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks of candidates in papers 1 and 2.
