RRB NTPC Selection Process 2024

The RRB NTPC selection process 2024 involves 4 stages.

Stage- 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Stage- 2: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Stage- 3: Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test

Stage- 4: Document verification/ Medical examination

Stage- 1: RRB NTPC CBT 1 (Computer Based Test )

This is the 1st stage in the RRB NTPC selection process 2024.

  • The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
  • The exam duration of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is 90 minutes.
  • The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is of a screening nature.
  • ⅓ marks will be taken for wrong answers.
  • Moreover, the normalization of marks is also done.

Stage-2: RRB NTPC CBT 2 (Computer Based Test )

This is the 2nd stage in the RRB NTPC selection process 2024.

  • The RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam duration is 120 minutes for PWD candidates and 90 minutes for other candidates.
  • ⅓ marks will be taken for wrong answers.
  • The question level will vary depending on the posts.
  • Moreover, the normalization of marks is also done.

Stage-3: RRB NTPC Computer Based Aptitude Test

This is the 3rd stage in the RRB NTPC selection process 2024.

  • Candidates who chose Traffic Assistant and Station Master will only appear for CBAT.
  • The Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) has no negative marking.
  • The CBAT will have question and answer options in English and Hindi.
  • A minimum of 42 marks in each of the test batteries is mandatory to get qualified.
  • Based on the marks scored in the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam and CBAT exam merit list will be released for the posts.
  • 70% weightage is given to RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam and 30% weightage is given to CBAT exam.

Stage-4: RRB NTPC Document Verification

This is the fourth stage in the RRB NTPC selection process 2024. Here we are providing the information for the RRB NTPC selection process document verification. Candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for the document verification process based on their merits and post preference options.

Once the document verification process is done, candidates will be tested for the physical fitness required for the post. Moreover, RRB only recommends the selected candidate’s name and appointment offered by the respective RRBs.
